Just Us!
This month's "Just Us" article features Marsha Haggard, Office Manager. Marsha has worked at ICS since August of 1990 and has been involved in many aspects of the business. Marsha has been involved with everything from inventory control to payroll; from maintenance contracts to sales tax. She wears a lot of hats and is very responsible for the day to day functions that keep the business running smoothly.
Outside of work, Marsha is an avid softball and basketball fan. She was a part of the Waterloo Cougar High School Basketball program that won the 1990 Alabama 1A State Championship. You might recall an earlier "Just Us" feature on ICS employee Michelle McFall who was also a member of this team. Marsha and Michelle were also on the Cougar softball team that finished as state runner up that same year.
Today, Marsha continues to enjoy playing softball but has now developed a new hobby in turkey hunting. She says she avoids the strong temptation to shoot turkeys right off her back porch.
Continuing the sporting tradition, Marsha now finds time to coach her eight year old daughter, Jurnee's softball and basketball teams.
Marsha is also in the process of building a new home. She calls it the pay as you go plan, preferring to do all of the work herself.

Meet Brian Sheffield, printer technician. Brian has been with ICS since 2005. Originally from Mississippi, Brian moved to Florence, Alabama with his family in 1996. Brian is married (Carrie) with two children (daughter Peyton, 12 and son Noah, 9).
Brian's hobbies include officiating high school football games, which he has been doing since 1994. His highlights include refereeing his first high school playoff game in 2002. Brian's goal is to move toward college officiating, beginning with small colleges, such as, junior colleges and Division II schools and eventually moving to a larger Division I conference, such as, the SEC. Brian is very involved in his church where he is a deacon, teaches 10-12 year old Sunday school and pitches for the church softball team.

The featured employee in this month's "Just Us" is Tony Lovelady. Tony is coming home: Sweet Home Alabama that is. Tony has now lived in Alabama for the past six years, but the previous twenty-five were spent in Atlanta, Georgia working for Apple Computer and Apple distributors. He has been a Solution Specialist for ICS for just over a year now. Atlanta was just too big and too busy for a small town boy. Tony calls Alabama home, but has lived all over the southern United States, finishing high school in Liberty Hill, Texas. Liberty Hill is a very small town north of Austin with a population of a just over five hundred people. Sports were a big part of Tony's high school days as he played football, basketball, track and tennis, but baseball was his favorite. Tony had the opportunity to play baseball in college and semi-pro before a knee injury ended his career.
Hobbies now include working a small farm which consists of raising goats, chickens, emus and three boys. The goats, chickens and emus kind of raise themselves, but the boys are a hand full. Aaron 15, Parker 12, and William 10 all are active in school activities and playing baseball during the summer and fall. We should also mention Janet, Tony’s wife, who works full time for the Lauderdale County 4H program and is a full time student at the University of North Alabama. She also has a position at their church working with children. Whew, she needs another job! Ha, Ha.
Please give Tony a call. He would love to talk about emus, goats, chickens, kids or your latest computer needs.
